Rotating Shapes

You can rotate shapes using either the mouse or the keyboard. You can rotate one shape at a time, or rotate multiple shapes at once (including rotating the whole course). Some shapes cannot be rotated by themselves.

To rotate shapes with the mouse:

  1. Select the shapes to be rotated.
  2. Position the cursor over any of the selected shapes' circular handles. When the cursor is in the correct position, it will appear as a circular arrow.
  3. Click and hold the left mouse button down.
  4. Drag the mouse until the shapes appear at the desired angle.
  5. Release the mouse button.

To rotate shapes with the keyboard:

  1. Select the shapes to be rotated.
  2. Use the "[" and "]" keys to rotate the shapes by 15 degrees at a time. Use "{" and "}" to rotate the shapes by 1 degree at a time.
"Bendable" shapes (lines, paths, open tunnels, and unusable areas) must be handled differently to rotate them by themselves. If just one bendable shape is selected, the handles will be diamond-shaped, indicating that the shape can be bent by clicking and dragging the handle. To rotate the shape instead, hold down the Ctrl key while following the steps listed above.
