Selecting ShapesTo delete a shape, edit a shape's properties, rotate a shape, or "bend" a shape, you must first select it. You must also first select shapes if you want to move more than one shape at a time. When a shape is selected, "handles" are displayed on the shape to show that it is selected. Handles are usually circular, which indicates that the selected shape(s) can both be moved and rotated. If the selected shape(s) can be moved but not rotated, square handles are displayed instead. If the selected shape is one that can be "bent" (lines, paths, tunnels, and unusable areas), diamond-shaped handles are displayed. To select a single shape by clicking:Click on the shape to be selected. The shape will become selected. Any previously selected shapes will become unselected. The same mouse click that selects a shape this way can be used as the start of a click-and-drag operation that moves the shape. That is, you can simply press the left mouse button when the cursor is over the shape, and then immediately start moving the shape by moving the mouse, without releasing the mouse button. For more information, see Moving Shapes. To change the selection of individual shapes by clicking:While holding down the Shift or Ctrl key, click on each shape whose selection is to be changed. If a shape you click on had been unselected, it will become selected. If a shape you click on had been selected, it will become unselected. No other shapes will be affected. A mouse click that selects an additional shape this way, can also be used as the start of a move operation that affects all selected shapes. To select one or more shapes by dragging:
To change the selection of one or more shapes by dragging:While holding down the Shift or Ctrl key, follow the four steps listed immediately above. Any previously unselected shapes whose centers are within the selection rectangle will become selected. Any previously selected shapes whose centers are within the selection rectangle will become unselected. No other shapes will be affected.To select all shapes on the course:Use the "Edit / Select All" menu item. This is useful, for example, when preparing to rotate the entire course.To select all of a particular kind of shape:
